Singing Cyclist

Yesterday evening we were standing out in front of the hotel talking to Bernt, the friendly neighbor, and all of a sudden we heard someone singing in German very loudly. We were of course cracking up. Bernt explained to us that there is this gentleman in Coburg that rides around on his bike, which is equipped with a loudspeaker, and sings. LOL I guess he's been around for years now and he will only start singing if he sees someone on the street. I mean this guy just kept singing and singing! LOL He also told us that this same guy got caught stealing buns from the hotel here. Bernts sister owns and runs the hotel we're staying at. Every morning the bakery delivers a certain amount of buns for breakfast to the hotel. Bernts sister kept noticing that a fair amount of the buns were missing. So after a few days of this she decided to get up really early so she could see what was happening to the buns. Low and behold the singing bicycle guy was sneaking up to the door where the bakery left the buns and opening the bin they were stored in and stealing a bag full every morning. Well she caught him in the act and asked, "what the **** are you doing!" I guess the guy said nothing and just slowly put all the buns back in the bin! I guess every town neighborhood has to have their own resident weirdo. LOL I remember when I was a kid we had the witch lady. Boy was she strange. I'm sure some of you at home can remember her. She used to walk the streets with just two sheets covering her and she would just do random odd things. I remember the day she walked out in front of my dads car and had a HUGE bunch of balloons. LOL She looked like a circus clown gone all wrong.

The weather here is really crazy, it literally changes at the drop of a hat. For the past few days it's been really cool here and has been raining on and off. Hey, I'm not complaining though! LOL I would much rather have cool temperatures and rain than the unbearable heat we had previously.

Funny thing, the TV is on and their are a bunch of disgusting parrots squawking away. Gemma is sitting looking up at the TV cocking her head from side to side. She looks like a wind up toy when she does this. It just cracks me up. Gemma really is quite funny, she keeps everyone here in stitches. Well that's about all for now, we are thinking of going to castle today but that depends on the weather I think. So hopefully we'll have more pictures to post. Take Care!
