Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!

We couldn't be happier to be back in Coburg. We drove back last Friday. We got back to the hotel and unpacked everything, then we took our laundry to Brose because we learned last week that they have a laundry service. After that we headed to the laundromat to do a small load to get us through until the rest came back from the laundry service. We then headed to Die Nudel, this great place we discovered the previous Friday that has pasta and gigantic subs, for some lunch. We then attempted to find a belt for me since my shorts and pants are just barely hanging onto my hips. I think I must've sweated so much that my clothes aren't fitting so well. LOL I of course did not find one. Friday night we ate at good old Flamers. I can't believe the size of the Mega Burgers that Marsh gets there. They are soooooooo big! I myself prefer the Deluxe Chicken Burger, which is basically a chicken breast stuffed with cheese and ham then breaded. I had to skip the milkshake though because the potato wedges and burger filled me up.

Saturday was a pretty lazy day. We met up with Marshall's boss, Jeff, and sat in the rose garden downtown. It was so nice there sitting in the shade. We then went for some ice cream. Woo hoo! Have I mentioned how great the ice cream is here? LOL I got this thing that was half chocolate and half vanilla ice cream dipped in chips of chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top. When I got to the middle of this big ball of ice cream I discovered a little surprise, more chocolate syrup, or so I thought. So naturally I got excited because I LOVE chocolate. So I took a big scoop of the chocolatey sauce and what I tasted was not at all what I had expected. It was a chocolate liquor of some sort and it about made my eyeballs pop out of my head! I swear it must have been at least fifty proof! Jeff said something to the effect that if you had eaten two of those sundae's that you wouldn't be able to walk. LOL Later that night we met up with everyone and had dinner.

Sunday we skipped breakfast at the hotel cuz we wanted to sleep in. So when we finally rolled outta bed we were pretty hungry and decided to go get some McDonalds. The chicken nuggets of course were cooked in something that had a direct line to hell because they were so hot. We then proceeded to go for a drive to the castle to see what was going on up there. It looked super crowded so we went back to town and got some more ice cream! Yippee! Marsh went for the banana split and I tried this strange sundae that looks like a bowl of spaghetti. They take the vanilla ice cream and put it through this press thing that makes it come out looking like spaghetti noodles. Then they top it with lots of strawberry sauce to resemble tomato sauce, and then some grated white chocolate to look like Parmesan cheese. It was rather scrumptious, and I plan to have quite a few more while we're here. LOL Around six we went to the neighbors for a BBQ. Three more guys from London arrived Saturday, one of which had stayed here before, so we were all invited. The food was great, and the German hospitality just can't be out done. We had a pretty good time, especially Gemma. She loves going over there because they have dogs, ducks and bunnies. The male duck finally nipped her I guess, so hopefully she's learned a lesson. Knowing Gemma though, she probably hasn't and will no doubt harass the ducks another day. She was totally bonkers and had everyone cracking up. She would run her laps around the yard and wipe out every so often, which is quite amusing if I do say so myself.

Today I doubt we will do too much. Probably go for dinner at the Hoffbrau Haus I'm guessing and not much else. Maybe go to the grocery store and stock up on snacks. Still haven't decided on where to go for a trip. I'd really like to go to Prague still and I think Marsh is leaning towards going there too. It would be really great to see Diana too. The Legoland pictures are coming soon, I promise. I can imagine that everyone is anxiously awaiting the reveal. LOL Anyhoot, I will post more soon. Take care everyone!

Hey you two,
sounds like you are having a great time, that is so cool.
I was watching the travel channel and I have got a suggestion for a trip for you. The show I was watching was the top ten truck stops in the world and guess what the #1 truck stop just happens to be in Germany. I did not get the name of it or the town it is in but I am sure you could find that out on your own. It has gourmet dining, a pool, sauna and steam rooms, all coed. What do you think?
Love your stories, they just crack me up!!!!!!!!
Take care,
Love,
Aunt Chrissie
