Lindz reporting from the frontlines of BUG HELL!

Well, first of all I quite like it here so far. I think the Germans have got to be the nicest people I have ever met in my life. The family that own the hotel we are staying in honestly could not be any nicer. Bert, (I am pretty sure that is his name) met us yesterday and we talked for quite a while and today he ended up taking us to get dog food for baby Satan. Thank god for him too because I don't know what we would've ended up doing for dog food otherwise. We're all adjusting pretty well and are feeling pretty comfortable already. I however have some hang ups about speaking up much (believe it or not LOL) due to the whole language barrier, but I'm sure I'll get over it soon enough.

Now for the fun or funny stuff. I must say the German people are definitely of the more slender build. So therefore their showers are pretty damn cramped. I have a problem every time I turn around or bend down (to get the shampoo because there are no shelves mind you) because my huge arse turns the water off. LOL Another odd thing is the toilets here. They are made for giants apparently, because when I sat on the one here at the hotel, no joke, my legs dangled. Yes, I'm sure this is amusing to all of you but I tell ya, it's just really crazy having your feet just hanging there and then having to hop off the old camode. LOL Now for the bugs. A certain somebody told me that the bugs here were quite tiny. So I was pretty optimistic about the bug situation. Well I first laid eyes on the Godzilla bug yesterday when it flew into my window and actually made a loud thud type noise. You can imagine my horror when I looked up to discover that is was in fact a gigantic winged insect! I closed the window for a bit after that. Well today the window was wide open again and one of the Godzilla bugs actually got into the room this time! I hadn't noticed until it was too late and the damn thing was dive bombing my head like a maniac. I mean this thing was huge, and it sounded like a Cessna zooming by my ears. I was getting ready to take the dog out so I hauled ass and got out quick before it made another go at me. Thank god it had vacated by the time I got back in. I mean I can totally deal with the Polly Pocket sized shower and the sasquatch toilet, but the Godzilla bugs are really freaking me out! I am being dead serious when I say that the things are the size of a small mouse. LOL

That's about it for now, hopefully we will get some pictures up here soon and further amuse everyone at home with our crazy adventures. So we'll catch you soon. Take care everyone!
