Yet another hot day...

Yet again the weather is +30 (and the ONLY places here with A/C are McDonald's, work, and the car).

Lindz and G' are taking their afternoon naps, not much else you can do with the heat (We've been told this is not normal).

Just been looking up Places of Canadian history in France (Vimy and Bayeux) Might make a weekend trip out of it. Bayeux is about 11hours away with Paris on the way, while Vimy is about 8 hours. I think it would be a good 2 night trip (maybe 3).

Tomorrow we leave Coburg for Winterbach (2-3hours south). So being still kids at heart we are going to make a detour to LegoLand :-) We plan to get there early as we need to be sure that Gemma can get checked in to the Lego doghouse (can't make reservations).

So to get ahold of us, you can call our (well Jackie's) cell phone
+011 49 (0) 173 425 0515
[not sure if you need to enter the (0) but I don't think it will hurt if you do]

Lindz and I thank all that have updated us on news from the homeland. We would greatly appreciate If others could respond on the blog or call us.

Diana:
Of course we are home sick in some ways: The food is great here, but just not the same. The A/C or lack there of sure makes us think of home. (I'm sure lindz would like a bigger shower and a midget toilet).

"Too bad we won't be able to meet up while we are all over there." <-- If there's a will there's away. Our neighbours actually recomened that we visit Prague.

Jackie:
I'm shure Jeff and Thomas will help us celebrate Canada Day ;-)

Unfortunatly we don't get MTV up here in Scheuerfeld. The hotel has an asortment of about 10 Tv antennas on a pole up on the roof. We get 12ch. MSNBC is the only english one, so we are able to watch Leno, and O'Brian before we call it a night.
(maybe they have cable... I need to check that box below my room out)

I liked watching Pimp my Bicycle last time I was in town.

Well the battery is almost dead... Dont want to be typin this twice again.

Cheers!
Marsh

Pam is still in california and she will be back on the 30th. its been hot here to the past couple days it was like 97f (scorcher). diana and i went to midway the other day and rode the go carts. of course we goofed off a little bit but when the race was over we parked the carts in line and got out. but this lady was driving one with her kid and I think she forgot, well I know she forgot the breaks because she went speeding like a bat out of hell and slammed into all the other parked carts. diana and I imediatly pointed and laughed all the way to the parking lot.
